"Thanks for hosting another very successful fundraiser for the girls softball team.
The money we make at this event sets the team up for the rest of the year. It pays for tournaments, equipment and training.
One of the most difficult things to do nowadays is fundraise for any worthwhile cause.
There are so many competing interests and most fundraising ideas are long on effort and planning and short on returns.
You're poker nights are so easy to do. They require minimal effort and we make great money for the team.
Most of all and key to their success is they are fun and people want to come.
We have no problem selling tickets. The atmosphere is great, food is excellent and you're coordination of the event makes it a breeze.
I really can’t imagine any other form of fundraising that would provide such a great bonding event for parents, raise so much money and be such a great night out.
Make sure you book us in for next year!

"I’m writing this letter shortly after the successful completion of our local
Ladner Business Association Barbeque which was catered by The Boot and Sombrero, and Brad and Jana Herauf of Ladner BC.
Our theme was South Western, but honestly, Brad’s team would have been able to cater to any food category.
The choices were delicious and well suited for the diversity of the attendees, including meeting the needs of a few vegetarians at the last minute.
This particular event was held outside which wasn’t a problem for the Boot’s team; they were running an outdoor grill,
serving appetizers, as well as a full buffet style sit down dinner of over 120 people.
The individual employees who worked the event along with Brad and Jana were fun, outgoing and hardworking; everyone was just wonderful to deal with.
Overall the BBQ was delicious and great fun; the food and outgoing efforts of The Boot’s team made the event a total success!
Thank you again Brad and Jana, and I would highly recommend you, and The Boot, for anyone looking for catering needs.
